Happy Lunar New Year!

This page is written monthly

We'd be happy if you look at
our previous issues.

#1 GREETING

A typhoon has a huge eye.
When we are beneath the eye, wind and rain stop,
and you see a clear sky above.

When the eye is approaching and leaving,
we have hardest blow.

We are happy that Yoyokaku receives many guests from the world.
Among them, Mr. and Mrs. David MacLennan from Tasmania are our friends, rather than our customers,
who visit us every year, even though they are visiting a far place in Japan.
David-san has written many times about his precious experiences in Japan.
They have so many friends in Japan, whom they pay a visit and share a very happy time.
Travel is not just a travelling, but it is Meeting old friends.
This time, David-san's new experience was a Typhoon!
You can see a different phase of Japan through his experiences.
Please enjoy.

The tale of a "typhoon disrupted" visit

by David MacLennan

Thank you, David-san, for your tale of the typhoon.
On the Okunchi Day, I was waiting for David-san and Ann-san, being a little worried about their safety.
They appeared looking exhausted after a long hardship caused by a huge out-of-season typhoon.
They said they were all right, and we had a happy time of festival the next day.
After a typhoon, the sky gets completely clear, and we thank god that we have survived.

So, dear readers, I wish you safety from every kind of natural disasters.
See you next month.
